Calendar functions, sometimes also referred to as "PIM" (Personal Information Manager) functions, allow you to store scheduling and event information in your phone. Some phones also offer the ability to sound an alert (or vibrate) to remind you of upcoming events. These alerts may serve as an integrated Alarm feature.
Some phones can also synchronize this information with a PC, PDA, or laptop. See PC Sync and SyncML for more information.
