Any phenomenon by which a signal transmitted on one circuit or channel of a transmission system creates an undesired effect in another circuit or channel. This can be as severe as hearing someone else's conversation, or simply mild interference.
Crosstalk is generally rare in modern digital wireless phone systems, but known to occur.
