The ability to capture video clips using the phone's built-in camera. This is also referred to sometimes as a "camcorder" feature.
Saved video clips can then be sent via MMS to another phone. Some phones also allow video clips to be uploaded to online albums, or transferred to a PC or other devices via memory cards or Bluetooth.
Video capture functionality can vary among phones in several ways. First is the maximum clip length. Some phones can only record 10-15 seconds of video, while others can record several minutes. Still other phones are limited only by memory, so a phone with enough memory or a large enough memory card could record an hour or more of video all at once.
Phones also vary in the size (resolution) of the recorded video, and the frames per second (fps). Lower fps means the video will look "jerky". Higher fps means smoother motion.
